Trained by people who run live television

writiqra brings broadcast engineers, lighting designers and sound mixers into one course for the next generation of UK production crews.

Our story

Why we created writiqra

Across the UK, studios and live events are growing more connected and more complex. Yet many crews learn each discipline in isolation. We built writiqra to show how studio design, cameras, lighting and sound work together under pressure.

Our tutors still work on air, in galleries and on outside broadcasts. That means every exercise, checklist and workflow in the course comes from a real production day, not from a textbook.

Our values

How we teach

Practical first

We teach on real equipment so every skill can be used on the next job.

Broadcast standards

Our content follows the technical and safety standards used across UK television.

Crew mindset

Productions succeed through communication, so we train people to work as one team.

Attention to detail

From cable labels to colour matching, small details make a show look and sound professional.
